On March 21, 2022, she attained a career-high singles ranking of No. 150 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

She won two singles titles on the ITF Circuit in May 2021 in the $100,000 event in Bonita Springs.

Volynets defeated Emma Navarro in the final of the USTA Girls 18s National Championships on August 11, 2019, earning her a wildcard berth into the singles main draw of the 2019 US Open.

Bianca Andreescu, who went on to win the championship, defeated her in the first round.
